We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Emergency Room FSED to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact in patient care, leveraging your expertise in emergency services to drive exceptional outcomes.

Estimated Salary: $83,000 - $110,000 per year

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse Emergency Room FSED, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centered care in accordance with established nursing models. You will work collaboratively with medical providers and other members of the care team to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving optimal patient outcomes through effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient departmental operations.
  • Participating in activities to plan, measure, assess, and improve the quality of patient care.
  • Routinely providing triage assessments and performing venipunctures for obtaining specimens for lab tests.
  • Intervening in emergency situations to ensure patient safety and well-being.
  • Charging the department as needed to maintain accurate records.
Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Current Texas licensure with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course (PALS) certification within six months of hire.
  • One year experience in Emergency Services (ED) (ER) (FSED).
