Job Overview

Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking skilled professionals to provide comprehensive behavioral health services in Skilled Nursing Facilities.

We are a leading provider of psychiatric services, committed to delivering state-of-the-art care. Our team specializes in providing mental health treatment for adults and geriatrics in various settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
  • Assess patient mental status based on symptoms.
  • Diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
  • Apply medical decision-making skills for mental health issues, including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists on clinical cases.
Requirements:
  • Licensed in Colorado by the Board of Nursing in good standing, with a focus in psychiatry.
  • Licensed by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA).
  • Possession of Malpractice Insurance (if Independent Contractor).
  • 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.
  • 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and organized, able to function under stressful situations.
Compensation:

$150,000 to $220,000 annually, with billable hour, W2, and independent contractor options available.
