Job Summary

Southwire is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and drive quality excellence. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet customer specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality improvement projects to reduce customer complaints and improve product quality.
  • Oversee internal and external quality audits, customer audits, and responses.
  • Lead the standardization of product inspection and testing methods to ensure compliance with customer, industry, and government standards.
  • Support the deployment of SAP Quality Management module to optimize quality planning, inspection, and control.
  • Maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 compliant quality management systems.
  • Use quality and operations data to drive change and define improvement metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent computer and data management skills, with SAP and ERP experience a plus.
  • Detailed-oriented, self-starter with ability to handle multiple challenges and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel 10%.
