Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Float Pool Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various units and departments, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  • Utilize the nursing process to promote optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.

Requirements:

  • RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
  • Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required.
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to unit type or specialty area.
