About the Role

South Region OPS Med Groups is seeking a skilled Physician to join our team in El Paso, Texas. As a home health care professional, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical care to patients in their homes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive base salary of $250,000 per year, along with an annual quality bonus with a target of $50,000. In addition, we provide comprehensive benefits, including liability coverage without tail requirements, a student loan repayment program, and the OptumCare Physician Partnership Plan. You will also be eligible for our 401(k) plan with company match and the UHG Employee Stock Purchase Program.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.), or M.B.B.S
  • Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine or family medicine
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in Texas or the ability to obtain prior to employment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
  • Valid DEA license
  • Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fellowship training in Palliative Care and/or Geriatrics
  • A working understanding and support of a managed care environment
