As a Field Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in presenting our solar products and services to potential customers in their homes.

  • You will develop effective sales strategies, generate leads, and conduct in-home presentations to evaluate customers' knowledge and needs.
  • Your primary focus will be on building genuine human connections with potential customers, qualifying them for solar as a viable energy solution, and handling the pipeline of activity from prospect to installation.
Key Responsibilities

As a Field Sales Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing industry-leading customer sales experiences from initial contact through installation and after the system is turned on.
  • Conducting in-home sales presentations, evaluating customers' knowledge and needs, and building long-lasting relationships.
  • Handling the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations.
  • Accurately dispositions and reports outcomes via our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
  • Meeting minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership.
Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally when addressing customer needs.
  • Willingness to spend time traveling within local markets, depending on business needs and sales model.
  • An intermediate comfort level with technology, utilizing an iPad/computer and multiple software applications.
Benefits and Compensation

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance coverage, employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). Our compensation structure includes a competitive salary plus lucrative performance incentives, annual bonus eligibility, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.

The estimated salary range for this opportunity is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, plus commissions. This estimate assumes that the successful candidate will be located in markets within the United States that warrant this compensation. Please note that actual salaries may vary based on individual performance and company goals.
