About the Role
">We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our Software Platform team at Magna Services in Lowell, MA. As a seasoned backend developer with expertise in cloud technologies, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable server-side components of our applications.

- Design and develop robust, high-performance backend systems and APIs that integrate with front-end components.">
- Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to deploy, manage, and scale applications, ensuring seamless integration with storage, computing, and networking solutions.">
- Maintain databases, guaranteeing data integrity, security, and performance while working with both SQL and NoSQL databases as needed.">
- Implement and maintain security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection measures.">
- Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements as needed to ensure optimal system efficiency.">
- Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions.">
Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience in Computer Science or a relevant technical field.">
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on cloud technologies.">
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Go lang, Python, Node.js, C/C++ or Java.">
- Experience with any cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation).">
- Database Knowledge: Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).">
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).">
