Job Summary

At Medtronic, we are seeking a seasoned quality professional to join our team as a Quality Assurance and Operations Specialist. This individual will be responsible for working directly with engineering and manufacturing associates to investigate product issues, perform containment on potentially nonconforming product, and document results in technical reports.

This is a first shift role at the Medtronic facility in Brooklyn Center, MN. The successful candidate will have experience with nonconformance processes, knowledge of product containment techniques, and strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate product issues and perform containment on potentially nonconforming product
  • Document results in technical reports
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place
  • Prepare and monitor quality statistics
  • Review quality metrics to identify trends and improvement projects

Requirements

  • Experience with nonconformance processes (NCMR or PRB)
  • Familiarity with nonconformance procedures, root cause analysis, and technical report review and writing
  • Knowledge of product containment techniques
  • Data analysis skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement experience
  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment
  • Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Technical writing skills
