Salary: $4,755 - $7,296 per year

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to join our Information Technology and Research (IT&R) Section. The successful candidate will provide research, statistical analysis, and technical support to DCBS program areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing research methodologies
  • Analyzing and presenting complex data in narrative and/or graphic form
  • Serving as project analyst on research studies for one or more DCBS Divisions
  • Applying analytical techniques and concepts to research studies and statistical projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline with six-quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures
  • One year of experience using computerized applications to gather, compile, and analyze data
  • Or four years of research experience using computerized applications to independently gather, compile, and analyze data

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of research techniques, including planning of studies and investigations
  • Knowledge of statistical principles and procedures
  • Ability to speak and write effectively to a variety of audiences
  • Experience with advanced features of computer software (e.g. SAS, Excel)
