About the Role

We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in this exciting opportunity. As an OT with Amergis, you will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, providing skilled occupational therapy services and making a real difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing Skilled Occupational Therapy Services">

You will be responsible for performing student evaluations, developing and providing therapy services, and documenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each student.

">Collaborating with Healthcare Teams">

You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that students receive comprehensive care and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

">Instructing Students and Families">

You will instruct students and families on the total occupational therapy program, including the use of adaptive equipment and prosthetic/orthotic devices.

">Documenting Progress and Outcomes">

You will accurately and timely document student progress and outcomes, ensuring that all necessary information is recorded and communicated to relevant parties.

">Supervising Assistants">

You will supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants according to company policies and procedures, ensuring that they are trained and equipped to provide high-quality support.

">Compliance and Quality Assurance">

You will ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to professional practice and patient confidentiality.

">Professional Development">

You will participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.

    • Licensure and Certification">

You must hold current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice and maintain certification as required by law.

">Experience and Education">

You should have a minimum of one year of prior professional occupational therapy experience and a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.

">Skills and Qualifications">

You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively elicit and provide information to and from various individuals, including supervisors, coworkers, and clients.

Educational Background and Required Skills:
