Job Summary
Aaron\u0027s is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our customers, driving payment collections, and lease agreement renewals.
Key Responsibilities
\u2022 Serve as a coach to our customers, understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring they are 100% satisfied with the product.
\u2022 Build relationships with our customers over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them one-step closer to ownership.
\u2B06 Connect and relate well to people, demonstrate empathy, listen attentively, explain things simply and easily, and successfully navigate difficult conversations.
\u2022 Maintain updated customer information in the store computer system and document all customer payment appointments.
\u2022 Direct contact with customers who have not renewed their Lease agreement(s) both in home visits and over the phone.
\u2022 Sell customers on the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments.
\u2022 Assist the Customer Account Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
\u2022 Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
\u2022 Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for all items personally returned.
\u2022 Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheet and route sheets daily.
\u2022 Load, secure and protect product in company vehicle.
\u2022 Safely operate company vehicle.
\u2022 Assist the Sales Team as needed.
\u2022 Any reasonable duties requested by management.
Requirements
\u2022 United States at least 21 years old with a valid state Driver\u0027s License and compliance with the Company\u0027s Driver Qualification Policy; including satisfactory MVR (driving record). Canada at least the age of 18.
\u2022 Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states (United States).
\u2022 Ability to work schedule of hours varying from 8 am to 9 pm.
\u2022 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with the assistance of a dolly.
\u2022 Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred.
\u2022 High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
\u2022 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
\u2022 High energy with the ability to effectively perform all functions of the store and multitasking effectively.
\u2022 Proper telephone etiquette.
\u2022 Uphold the Aaron\u0027s Brand and protect company assets.
\u2022 Maintain a professional appearance.
\u2022 Proficient computer skills.
