About the RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Arizona, California, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Nevada, or Texas. As a key member of our accounting team, you'll be responsible for performing professional accounting work involving compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial data. You'll ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare timely and accurate worksheets, financial statements, and reports.
- Assist in preparation of monthly management report and accompanying schedules, worksheets, and narratives, including 'Budget vs. Actual' variance reports.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to include a variety of reasonably standard, periodic 'intermediate' or 'end products' such as cost reports, trial balances, balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, or statements of sourcing and application of funds.
- Prepare appropriate commentary relating to report items of significance, and conducts pertinent investigation of the accounts involved.
- Support the needs of the organization by understanding the roles, responsibilities, and activities performed by organizational functions; understanding the interrelationship among organizational functions, and collaborating across functional and organizational lines.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial processes.
- Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles.
- Accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency and ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
- Accuracy in financial reporting and calculations is required.
In exchange for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including:
