Duke Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join their team in Durham, North Carolina. This position offers a competitive salary of $70,000-$90,000 per year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all phases of nutrition care, including assessment, care planning, monitoring, education, and counseling of hospitalized patients and outpatients in various settings. They will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care and maintain compliance with performance improvement plans, JCAHO, and other licensing agencies.

As a Clinical Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement educational materials, write orders for diet and supplements, and function as an integral member of the clinical team. You will also be expected to maintain your registered dietitian status through continuing professional education and licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nutrition and Dietetics.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in an acute care setting and be eligible for registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
