Job Summary:

Verify is seeking a skilled Mechanical Source Inspector to join our team in the Aerospace industry. As a Mechanical Source Inspector, you will be responsible for performing visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies to ensure they meet engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications.
  • Report inspection accept/reject information directly to the customer via a web application.
  • Have direct Aerospace work experience, including aircraft manufacturing, detail fabrication, and machined parts.
  • Be able to understand complex engineering drawings and specifications (ANSI-Y-14.5).
  • Have a minimum of six (6) years hands-on experience in the aircraft industry performing applicable product verification and supplier surveillance tasks.
  • Be able to speak, read, and write in English with effective communication skills.
  • Have extensive and broad-ranging aircraft commodity knowledge and experience, including structures, mechanical assemblies, precision machined parts, sheet metal parts, fasteners, castings, and forgings.
  • Be familiar with First Article Inspection (FAI) and Flight Safety Products.
  • Pass the Basic Mechanical Test with a score of 84% or higher.
  • Have experience with Digital Data - reading/interpreting only.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of six (6) years hands-on experience in the aircraft industry performing applicable product verification and supplier surveillance tasks.
