Job Description

Job Summary:

The University of Pennsylvania seeks a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Conduct to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing hearing-related planning, documentation, and follow-up appeals, as well as collaborating with case managers to prepare for hearings and be present during hearings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee hearing-related planning, documentation, and follow-up appeals
  • Collaborate with case managers to prepare for hearings and be present during hearings
  • Train campus partners and panelists on hearing matters and process
  • Manage and investigate cases for alleged violations of university policies
  • Act as a direct liaison for assigned schools/departments within the Penn community
  • Develop and implement targeted educational outreach efforts

Requirements:

  • JD and 2-3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in student services or human resources preferred
  • Extensive experience in interviewing, investigating cases/situations, and/or mediating conflict
  • Demonstrated strong people skills, organizational skills, and ability to work on a team
  • Previous experience working in higher education strongly preferred
