Sales Manager for Carrier Refrigeration and APU Sales

Gateway Industrial Power is a reputable and expanding dealership specializing in Carrier Refrigeration, Volvo, and TICO products with a strong presence in the Midwest.

We are seeking a skilled Sales Manager to lead our Carrier refrigeration, APU, and telematic sales efforts in the Chicago area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Chicago sales team in achieving set goals and targets.
  • Allocate territories and set sales quotas for team members.
  • Consult with potential customers to understand their requirements and recommend suitable products, equipment, or services.
  • Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly objectives for unit sales, gross profit, expenses, and operating profit in the region.
  • Address customer complaints, staffing issues, and other operational challenges promptly.
  • Collaborate with the executive leadership team to devise effective sales strategies and quotas aligned with dealership goals.
  • Oversee hiring and disciplinary actions in adherence to company policies.
  • Monitor and drive performance to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management.
  • Experience within the transportation field preferred.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
