Job Summary

Gpac is working with a reputable heavy equipment company that is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician. This company prides itself on its family-friendly atmosphere and commitment to resolving problems quickly and correctly. The Technicians play a vital role in the company, performing diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and dealer-owned equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, repair, or recondition heavy equipment and components
  • Maintain current knowledge of company equipment and competitive products
  • Participate in training programs offered by the company
  • Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Technical school training or equivalent work experience
  • Heavy equipment work experience preferred
  • Brings own tools
  • Strong mechanical skills, including hydraulics and electrical
  • Able to work as a team member
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug test
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and have good manual dexterity, including multi-limb coordination
