Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary
Apple is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our Silicon Technologies group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions to ensure the seamless operation of our high-performance processors.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions to ensure the stability and efficiency of our hardware technology compute and storage group
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve the consistency and reliability of our software systems
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support for our hardware technology engineering environment
Requirements
- Experience in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Rust, or Perl
- Knowledge of software design patterns and RESTful services
- Experience with ticketing systems and on-call support duties
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to participate in or lead cross-functional projects to successful completion
- Experience working in an operations team supporting high availability environments
- Knowledge of Linux, containers, and Kubernetes
