Job Title: Retention Marketing Manager

Position Overview:

As the Retention Marketing Manager at JustFoodForDogs, you will be responsible for leading our CRM strategy and enhancing our email and SMS marketing efforts. Your primary goal will be to drive direct-to-consumer (DTC) revenue and grow our subscriber base while supporting our omnichannel business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute our CRM strategy for email and SMS marketing, creating segmented, targeted campaigns that drive customer engagement and increase DTC revenue.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of email and SMS campaigns, including flows, campaign/batch messages, and A/B tests.
  • Analyze campaign performance using KPIs such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue generated.
  • Implement strategies to increase our email and SMS subscriber base, utilizing best practices for list growth, segmentation, and lead nurturing.
  • Collaborate with the retail and wholesale teams to ensure cohesive messaging and promotions across all channels.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or retention marketing, preferably in a consumer goods or direct-to-consumer business.
  • Proficiency with Klaviyo and experience with Aftership or other transactional systems, as well as other ESPs and CRM platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to create compelling content and design engaging email and SMS campaigns.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
