Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive compensation and benefits package includes a competitive base salary, 10% defined contribution retirement plan, comprehensive training and mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Description

As an Activities Assistant, you will be responsible for creating engaging experiences for our residents. This involves planning, organizing, and executing a diverse range of activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being.

  • Develop and implement a monthly activities calendar that caters to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Coordinate with the Activities Director to ensure seamless execution of activities.
  • Engage residents in arts and crafts, games, music, and other recreational programs that promote cognitive function and emotional well-being.
  • Provide individualized support to residents who require additional assistance.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a Long-Term Care or senior living setting (training will be provided).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
