MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Bone Marrow Transplant Registered Nurse to join our team for a travel assignment. As a leading provider of contract staffing services, we offer a unique opportunity to work with top healthcare facilities nationwide.

Responsibilities

Bone Marrow Transplant Nurses play a critical role in managing patients who are preparing for or recovering from a bone marrow transplant. This requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail.

  • Perform nursing assessments and lab evaluations on all treatment patients.
  • Review patient labs to determine if values are within accepted parameters for treatment.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of oncology and/or blood and marrow transplantation, chemotherapy and biotherapy treatment regimens, medications and blood products used to care for these complex patients.
Requirements
  • Active RN License
  • Degree from accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Bone Marrow Transplant setting
