We are seeking a dedicated Intensive Care Specialist to join our team at Novant Health's New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, NC.

Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary for this position is up to $95,000 per year, plus a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 and relocation assistance of $7,500. This position is eligible for benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. As an Intensive Care Specialist, you will be responsible for quickly assessing and prioritizing patient care needs in the emergency department, administering urgent medical treatments and interventions according to protocols, working closely with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and communicate updates, providing patient and family education, and assisting with critical procedures like resuscitation and trauma stabilization as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
  • 1 Year of ED experience in an acute hospital setting.
