Dishroom Attendant

Old Chicago is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishroom Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain dish area, equipment, and chemicals to ensure a clean and sanitized environment.
• Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, glassware, and dishware to prevent cross-contamination.
• Sort and remove trash and garbage to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Stock and maintain clean glassware, utensils, and dishware to ensure efficient service.
• Ensure the work area and equipment stay clean throughout the shift.
• Change dish machine chemicals, water, and three-compartment sinks as needed.
• Inspect and verify machine operation and chemical levels throughout the workday.
• Perform cleaning tasks, including mopping and sanitizing, to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Requirements:

• No prior education or experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet guest expectations.
• Ability to walk and stand during the entire shift.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe.
• Ability to carry/lift 10-30 lbs.
