Cardiac Cath Lab RN Position in North Carolina

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team at DLP Cardiac Partners. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, assisting cardiologists in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality nursing care, assessing and managing patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab, and occasionally in other designated areas within the hospital. Additionally, they will assist cardiologists in all aspects of invasive cardiology, including scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and recording hemodynamic parameters in accordance with policy and procedure.
Key Responsibilities- Assist cardiologists in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures on adult patients
- Provide quality nursing care and assess patient needs in the cardiac catheterization lab and other designated areas
- Monitor and record hemodynamic parameters during invasive cardiology procedures
- Operate and report results using blood glucose and oxygen saturation devices in accordance with policy and procedure
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Licensed RN in NC or compact state with an unencumbered license
- BLS certification required, ACLS required within 90 days
- Minimum of two years of critical care experience or cardiac catheterization experience
- Ability to read and recognize EKGs and dysrhythmias
