About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Next Move Healthcare.

This is a night shift role with flexible hours, offering a competitive salary package, including a generous sign-on bonus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, adhering to safety protocols, and providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality radiology procedures in accordance with exam protocols and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for radiologic exams, ensuring proper positioning and exposure settings.
  • Follow safety protocols, including infection control and radiation safety procedures.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas, reporting any maintenance needs.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation, including patient history, consent forms, and imaging results.
  • Screen individuals entering the department to ensure safety in accordance with departmental policies.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
  • Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • Less than 1 year of experience required, though previous experience in radiologic technology is preferred.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively resolve issues.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hospital environment.
