At MRG Exams, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Examiner to join our team. As a Medical Examiner, you will be responsible for conducting medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

This is an in-person position that requires a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license. You will review medical records electronically through a web portal and perform focused physical exams without making disability determinations.

The United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations. This role performs Disability Assessments on 4-6 Veterans per day and works in a clinical setting. We offer guaranteed pay, with an estimated hourly rate of $60+ based on industry standards and location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review medical records and conduct focused physical exams
  • Electronically document exam findings required by the VA
  • Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and forms
Requirements:
  • Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
  • Ability to work in a clinical setting
  • Proficient use of a computer
