Produce Department Associate

We are seeking a talented Produce Department Associate to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals.
About the JobThis is a part-time position, requiring approximately 20-25 hours of work per week, including overnight shifts and weekends. As a Produce Department Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries, resolving issues, and making recommendations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including the produce department, stockroom, and other areas as needed.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, promote products, and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
- Receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Participating in visual merchandising and display projects to create an engaging shopping experience.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move freely throughout the store.
