We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Loves Travel Stops and Country Stores.

About the Job

As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues with our fleet of diesel vehicles. You will work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean facilities with friendly faces.

You will interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better. Your ability to troubleshoot and repair issues quickly and efficiently will ensure that our customers stay on the road and meet their deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have excellent communication skills. You must also be able to lift 75+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Job Functions
  • Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
  • Assist customers with roadside services.
  • Provide preventative maintenance services.
Requirements
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Loves).
  • Rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
  • Ability to work in close quarters.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes:
