Senior Office Coordinator

Job Summary: The University of Alabama is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant II to provide administrative support for the operations of a unit. As an integral part of our team, you will perform moderately complex and well-documented administrative tasks, act as an office liaison/receptionist, receive and route phone calls, emails, and guests, maintain files and enter data, draft and send communications on behalf of the supervisor/departmental staff, and reconcile P-Card/Concur for other staff/faculty against departmental budget.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively on a team. You will also be responsible for maintaining budget records, arranging meetings, itineraries, and agendas, typing various materials, compiling data, and preparing reports. In this role, you will be working closely with the Director of College Strategic Initiatives, the Associate Director of Donor Development, and the Events & External Relations Coordinator.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma or GED and two years of administrative experience; OR an associate's degree or higher. Additionally, you should possess knowledge of personal computers and standard application software, including spreadsheets and relational databases. Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or InDesign, Denny, Microsoft Office Suite, Social Media, Constant Contact, Concur, and Qualtrics is preferred.
