Job Overview

Responsibilities
  • Support inclusive education practices in the classroom, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Assist with daily classroom operations, ensuring smooth attendance and meal preparation processes.
  • Develop and implement sensory or gross motor activities, promoting physical and cognitive development in children.
  • Help students stay focused and engaged, utilizing strategies to maintain their interest and motivation.
  • Report any concerns regarding student well-being, prioritizing their health and safety.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma is required; an Associate's degree in education is a desirable asset.
  • Previous experience in childcare or education is necessary, demonstrating your ability to work with young children.
  • A reliable, patient, and understanding demeanor is essential, allowing you to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • The ability to stand and move for extended periods is also required, as you will be active in the classroom and engaging with children throughout the day.
