About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Transylvania Regional Hospital, serving as a vital link between patients, families, and healthcare providers.

As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless patient care, efficient unit operations, and exceptional patient experiences. Your expertise will help us maintain high-quality care standards, while fostering collaboration among staff members.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care Coordination: Assist with admission and discharge processes, ensuring timely and effective care transitions.
  • Nursing Operations: Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care services, collaborate with subject matter experts, and support initiatives to improve outcomes and service delivery.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster an environment of teamwork, working closely with staff to address patient needs and resolve issues.
  • Education and Development: Support new staff through training, mentoring, and performance evaluations, promoting growth and development within the team.
  • Supply Chain Management: Assist with inventory control, supplies, and equipment management, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1+ years of applicable experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a coordinator or leadership role.
  • Credentials: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse (R.N.) in North Carolina or eligible for licensure by Endorsement/Reciprocity, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (B.S.N.), with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care and operational efficiency.
