Nurse Recruiter Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Recruiter to join our team at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying nursing staffing needs and designing, developing, and implementing recruitment solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify nursing staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to meet those needs
  • Interview and conduct reference checks on nurse recruits
  • Screen and hire applicants for nursing positions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with nursing schools and other recruitment sources

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of three years of full-time experience in an appropriate related field. Alternatively, you may have an Associate's degree and the equivalent of five years of full-time experience, or a High School diploma or G.E.D. and the equivalent of seven years of full-time experience.

Preferred qualifications include a Registered Nurse background, preferably in oncology, as well as experience with Workday, Healthcare Recruitment, and Human Resources.
