Overview

As a Registered Nurse at McLaren Health Care, you will play a critical role in delivering quality nursing care to patients in the Radiation Oncology Department. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to maintain standards for professional nursing practice and carry out functions according to hospital policy and standards of practice defined by professional and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients.
• Plan and implement nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs.
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assume personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.

Requirements

• Associate Degree from a Certified Nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a Certified Nursing program.
• Oncology experience.
