Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the diagnostic imaging department. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiologic examinations according to established protocols, positioning patients, and selecting technical factors for optimal imaging results.
  • Review orders, correlate patient clinical history with exam being performed, and consult with attending radiologists and registered nurses as needed.
  • Follow all National Patient Safety Goals, ensuring accurate patient identification, maintaining patient privacy, and confidentiality.
  • Prepare sterile fields, contrast agents, and floor stock medications, ensuring sterility and adequate supplies during procedures.
  • Assist radiologists during fluoroscopic procedures, operate general radiology, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging systems, and post-process images as required.
  • Maintain working knowledge of department equipment and devices, reporting malfunctions and accidents or unusual incidents to administrative personnel.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in radiologic technology from an accredited school or two years of experience in a directly related area.
  • Radiographer License (Hawaii) required at hire
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Radiography
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Trauma, fluoroscopy, and surgery experience.

The estimated salary for this position is $$62,500 per year, based on national averages and industry standards. However, actual salaries may vary depending on location, experience, and other factors.
