About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Oncology Nurse Navigator to join our team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing individualized guidance to patients, families, and caregivers throughout their complex cancer journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and provide education and resources to facilitate appropriate and timely quality health and psychosocial care throughout all phases of the cancer continuum.
  • Create an environment of care that is patient-centered and compassionate, inspiring and motivating.
  • Participate in day-to-day operations of the program, including patient education and call triage.
  • Participate in program evaluation and development of strategic goals consistent with DFCI's mission and professional values.
  • Support the research activities of the program.
  • Exhibit professional commitment through individual integrity, honesty, and accountability to self and others.
  • Deliver expert clinical care through evidenced-based practice partnerships with patients, families, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Baccalaureate degree required; baccalaureate in nursing preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year (or equivalent) of oncology nursing experience.
  • Certification in Oncology Nursing, OCN, AOCN, or CPON preferred.
