X-Ray Technologist Role

This position will perform x-ray testing, operate diagnostic equipment, and prepare the room with necessary supplies. You'll also provide additional on-site operational support.

X-Ray Responsibilities

  • Preparing patients for x-ray examinations by providing education, instruction, and assisting in positioning body parts
  • Conducting x-ray examinations on patients as ordered by Staff Provider
  • Maintaining current licensure and certification for clinic equipment and licensure
  • Maintaining adequate levels of supplies in the x-ray suite
  • Ensuring equipment is operating properly
  • Adhering to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality

Clinic Operations

You'll assist with medical screening, setting up and tearing down at events, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent education based on the certification type
  • A valid ARRT certification and Texas State X-Ray license is required
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology necessary to perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement
  • Willingness to travel within your assigned region with occasional out-of-state travel to new markets
  • A highly organized and able to juggle multiple priorities and needs
  • A self-guided and autonomous operator able to work in a fast-moving team environment

Location and Compensation

Georgetown, TX and surrounding area. Estimated salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision package, paid time off plan, flex time, and paid holidays (including 4th of July week and Christmas week).
