Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive education and training programs for licensed and non-licensed staff members.
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership and staff to identify training needs and develop targeted programs.
  • Design and deliver training programs using various methodologies, including videos, in-person training, and e-learning.
  • Ensure all education and training programs meet community standards and federal regulations.
  • Manage and track education and training programs, including evaluation and assessment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with nursing leadership, staff, and vendors to ensure effective training and education.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry changes and standards, and adapt training programs accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain curriculum and course content to meet Windsor Care's needs.

Requirements

  • RN with valid license.
  • 2 years of clinical and/or supervisory experience required (educational leadership experience preferred).
  • Knowledge and passion for geriatrics, long term care, and transitional care.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Competency with web-based training, computer setup, and other audio/visual equipment.
