Envelope Technician

Job Summary:

NorthPoint Search Group Inc is seeking an experienced Envelope Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining envelope converting equipment, ensuring proper functioning and quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate envelope converting equipment, making necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, maintaining accurate records of repair work and changes.
  • Ensure proper seal gum, back gum, window gum, or other special gum is used for each job.
  • Back up Machine Operators for breaks as needed and maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Provide training to crew and other employees as needed and comply with all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3+ years of experience with folding envelope equipment.
  • Excellent mechanical skills, ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate operating instructions to machine operators and comprehend and follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and work up to 12-hour shifts and overtime when required.

Salary:
$25-28hr
