Job Summary

This position is responsible for the collection and processing of biological specimens for laboratory testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of phlebotomy procedures and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Collect and process biological specimens for laboratory testing
Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and processing
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth specimen processing

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience
Basic knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Knowledge of medical terminology
Additional related education and/or experience
