Produce Clerk Job Summary

The Produce Clerk plays a vital role in achieving sales and profit goals for the produce department at Food 4 Less. This position involves assisting the Produce Manager in maintaining department quality standards, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and stocking produce products in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintaining inventory control to ensure freshness and product quality
  • Assisting in maintaining a clean and attractive department
  • Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Produce Manager
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of produce clerk experience preferred
  • Ability to follow marketing plans for effective space management
  • Ability to follow company protocols for receiving product
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
