Job Purpose

The Equipment Operations Specialist Position is a crucial role within our production team at Wincore Windows & Doors. This position is responsible for performing multiple duties to ensure seamless production operations, maintaining and monitoring equipment as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various equipment types, including those producing vinyl and glass products.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including overtime as required by business needs.
  • Ability to safely operate and maintain equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to ensure seamless production operations.
  • Meet physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 45 pounds.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance duties and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Operate hand tools, forklifts, and scissor lifts safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor equipment operation to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal performance.
  • Meet production requirements and adhere to quality standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Successful completion of pre-screen testing (mechanical, following instructions, numerical computation).
  • Manufacturing-related experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new equipment and processes.
Working Conditions

The work environment is fast-paced with occasional exposure to noise, seasonal temperature fluctuations, and humidity. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes. The ability to work in a team environment and handle various materials (plastic, vinyl, wood, metal, and glass) is essential.
