Rapport International seeks a skilled Burmese Interpreter to provide in-person interpretation services for local Nebraska clients.

Job Description
As an independent contractor, you will work on a PRN (as needed) basis, providing flexible hours based on your availability and preferences.
The ideal candidate will be fully bilingual, have excellent communication and listening skills, and familiarity with medical terminology.
Requirements
- Fully bilingual in English and Burmese
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality and HIPPA compliance
- In person interpreters only, must have transportation to attend appointments locally
- Technical skills for learning/using online portal
- Must have access to a printer
- Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
- Background checks and drug screens required
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive estimated salary of $25-$35 per hour, based on industry standards and the location.
Please note that this is an hourly rate and not a guaranteed schedule. Hours are flexible and based on availability, languages spoken, and client needs.
We also require proof of vaccination as part of our hiring process to comply with our clients' health and safety requirements.
