As a Credit Union Relationship Manager at TAMPA BAY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional member service and helping members achieve their financial goals.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with members, understanding their financial objectives, and recommending suitable credit union products and services.

  • • Drive sales growth by proactively identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell credit union products and services
  • • Meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining high member satisfaction levels
  • • Build rapport and trust with members through personalized interactions and proactive outreach efforts
  • • Maintain regular communication with members to provide updates on their accounts, relevant promotions, and educational resources
  • • Collaborate with team members and participate in promotional campaigns and sales initiatives to maximize business opportunities

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • • Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • • Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • • Foster strong relationships with members to understand their financial needs and preferences
  • • Provide personalized financial advice and recommendations to help members achieve their goals

Member Relationship Management:

  • • Develop and nurture strong relationships with members through exceptional service and personalized financial guidance
  • • Proactively engage with members to understand their financial objectives, lifestyle, and preferences
  • • Serve as primary point of contact for member inquiries, concerns, and transactional needs
  • • Tailor communication style and messaging to resonate with diverse member demographics and preferences

Financial Consultation:

  • • Conduct thorough interviews with members to understand their financial goals, preferences, and current banking needs
  • • Utilize effective questioning techniques to uncover underlying financial needs and opportunities for improvement
  • • Recommend credit union products and services that align with members' needs, including checking accounts, savings accounts, loans, and investment options
  • • Educate members on various financial products, services, and digital credit union platforms to enhance their financial literacy and empower informed decision-making

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • • Adhere to all regulatory requirements, credit union policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
  • • Conduct thorough due diligence and verification processes for account openings, transactions, and documentation

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a similar or related field, including time spent in preparatory positions. A demonstrated aptitude and desire for sales environments is essential. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred.

In this role, you will also require strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Travel to various locations may be required, if applicable.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $$60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
