Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Pacific Companies. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide high-quality care to patients in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

This 3-month or longer locum position offers a unique chance to work in ambulatory primary care, with a patient volume of 18 patients per day. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including physical exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the receptionist, medical assistant, and nurse to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Use electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically NextGen, to document patient information and stay up-to-date on medical knowledge.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including referrals and hospital staff, to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and current Oregon license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
  • Ability to obtain malpractice insurance, which is provided for locum opportunities.
  • Expedited credentialing process, completed within less than 30 days.
