Job Summary:

Baylor University Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Specialist for Transplant Care.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position offering 36 hours per week, working nights with three 12-hour shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our transplant program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in educational programs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Nursing (RN)
  • Current licensure in the state of Texas
  • Experience in transplant nursing, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
