Job OverviewThis exciting role offers a unique opportunity to blend process auditing, QMS project support, and quality sustaining responsibilities to ensure that products meet standards of quality and safety. As a Senior Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for performing mechanical inspections to guarantee all quality aspects of the job are met exactly.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, components, fabricated/manufactured parts & assemblies to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Perform first piece/first article, receiving/incoming inspection, in-process, final inspection, and measure complex components, assemblies, and enclosures.
- Generate detailed inspection and nonconformance reports as necessary and check documents for accuracy and compliance to requirements.
- Audit Quality Control processes/programs to ensure compliance to standards and interface with other departments, suppliers, and customers on quality-related issues as necessary.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2-5 years working in a production environment in the same and/or related industry.
- Experience working in a clean room environment preferred.
- Previous experience on NPI (New Product Introduction) a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office applications and database software.
- Intermediate math abilities.
- Mastery of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance) and ability to independently and adequately interpret and apply it to every job in a daily basis.
This rewarding role comes with an estimated salary of $21.00 per hour, weekly pay, optional medical benefits, paid sick leave, and state-specific retirement saving options in accordance with state or local law.
