Job Summary

This locum tenens Pediatric Endocrinology Physician opportunity is located in Ashville, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric endocrinology and be board certified in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care as a Pediatric Endocrinology Physician
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Medical Assistants (MAs), referral coordinators/schedulers, and centralized registration
  • Cover 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with 24-hour call Monday through Friday
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have:

  • An active North Carolina medical license
  • A current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
  • Board certification in pediatric endocrinology
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this opportunity is $212,972 - $212,950 per year, depending on experience. AMN Healthcare typically arranges medical or dental malpractice insurance for contractors and offers highly competitive pay and benefits.
