Job Title: Outpatient Therapist

Carolina Outreach is seeking a full-time Outpatient Therapist to provide community-based therapy and case management to adults. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and one year of full-time post-graduate experience with the population being served. A license or provisional license in North Carolina (LCSW/A, LCMHC/A, LCAS/A) or a Qualified Professional is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial Comprehensive Clinical Assessments to determine if criteria for mental health diagnosis and treatment are met.
  • Recommend types of treatment modalities and evidenced-based practices needed and provide these services directly or by referral.
  • Work with clients and families/natural supports to assess client strengths and needs.
  • Assist families with planning, developing, implementing, and assessing treatment and ancillary services.
  • Document treatment and review treatment through the use of service notes, client treatment plans, and treatment assessment tools.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • One year of full-time post-graduate experience with the population being served.
  • License or provisional license in North Carolina (LCSW/A, LCMHC/A, LCAS/A) or a Qualified Professional.
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required.
