High-Performing Sales Account Manager

We are a leading building materials organization headquartered in Washington State. Our company specializes in selling to customers in the multi-family, commercial, and residential construction disciplines.
Salary and CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this role is $75,000 - $95,000, with uncapped and aggressive commission opportunities.
About the RoleThis salaried exempt position is full-time, targeted at 40 hours per week. The role requires on-site presence and reports to the Branch Manager based on your location.
Main Responsibilities- Communicate proactively with purchasing groups to confirm demand side needs and provide feedback when possible.
- Stay up-to-date with market activities and pricing trends, and perform research to inform solicitation and pricing activities.
- Collaborate with dispatch, logistics, and account management teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products ordered.
- Meet and exceed sales and gross margin goals, including an annual sales target of $10 million and a gross margin goal of $1 million (10% gm on sales).
- Monitor account profitability, customer satisfaction, and loyalty, taking action early when necessary.
- Cultivate and develop new customer relationships through lead generation and prospecting efforts.
- Schedule product shipments and provide ad-hoc support during the product delivery cycle.
- Offer responsive and friendly customer service to project owners.
- A 4-year college degree, preferred.
- A growth mindset and 'grinder' orientation.
- Outstanding sales performance with proven success.
- Strong data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and web-based software.
- A self-starter able to prioritize many urgent requests.
- Willingness to contribute to building an energetic and exciting organization.
- Existing deal flow with GC or framer project owners in the multi-family space, preferred.
