About the Role

The Operating Room Nurse Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of preoperative patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. This role requires strong assessment and care coordination skills, as well as knowledge of current nursing literature and resources.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Utilize the standards of Patient Focused Model to plan, implement, and evaluate care for all patients with consideration of age, developmental, socioeconomic, psychological, physical, spiritual, and cultural factors.">
  • Practice reflects knowledge of current nursing literature and resources, demonstrates ongoing learning in appropriate science as contemporary medical, pharmacologic, pathophysiology to care for specific patient types.">
  • Maintain competency in nursing practice and clinical skills and makes annual plan for processional development.">
  • Completes mandatory educational requirements.">
  • Validates patient identification according to hospital policy and reviews the consent and procedure.">

  • Current NH RN licensure, BS">
  • 5+ years of related clinical experience">
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing">
  • Current MA/NH RN licensure, BSN, CNOR">

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
